## **Gaerne Icestorm MTB Gore-Tex Cycling Boots** The Gaerne Icestorm MTB Gore-Tex Cycling Boots are made with Gore-Tex® Duratherm®, keeping out cold and wet weather out and sealing in warmth. The perfect choice for mountain biking in bitterly cold winter conditions. While other riders huddle up indoors, get your Icestorm MTB GoreTex Cycling Shoes on and enjoy some empty icy, snowy and muddy MTB trails. The Gore-Tex® Duratherm® membrane is waterproof so no moisture can seep inside and it provides excellent insulation to lock in warmth too. A Gore-Tex Rattler® collar at the ankle seals out the elements but its flexibility ensures easy pedalling. Meanwhile, thermo-reflective aluminium is placed between the outer and inner sole, ensuring no heat loss through the bottom of the boots.  With anti-abrasion zones strategically placed on the upper, these boots are built tough too. Slipping in and out of the Icestorm boots is easy too - no one wants to fuss with laces when temperatures plummet. The BOA IP1 dial lets you get the right fit every time via a simple twist. The smooth-running stainless steel cables ensure no pressure points as you tighten your shoes to the desired level. Inside, the anatomical insole, with tarsal support, keeps the foot positioned perfectly and fully supported when pushing on the pedals. **MTB MTB 3Density Sole 7.0** The MTB 3Density Sole 7.0 is engineered from a nylon and fibreglass composite, balancing stiffness, value and performance in a durable package. Rated 7 out of 12 on Gaerne's stiffness rating scale they're great for getting power to the pedals but you'll enjoy some flex for walking comfort and to take the buzz out of the terrain. The aggressive tread features THSR-ICEGRIP lugs, designed to really bite into icy and muddy ground for the ultimate in all-terrain winter traction. **Cleat Guidance** These shoes are compatible with MTB pedal systems, which use the 2-bolt cleat standard (SPD standard), e.g.: Shimano SPD, Time ATAC, CrankBrothers, CrankBrothers Race, Look MTB, Xtreme MTB, Wellgo MTB, Ritchey MTB.
