The nylon upper is tough and burly enough for all your MTB trail riding duties, with reinforced zones in key areas. To get the fit just right you'll find the BOA L6 closure is remarkably quick and easy to use - a simple twist lets you tighten or loosen the shoes to your liking. A reinforced heel keeps your foot held firmly in place while the breathable inner sole keeps everything fresh even after a day-long mountain biking adventure. **G.Explorer Vibram Sole** Gaerne have turned to Vibram, the outdoor rubber sole specialists, to help create the super-grippy G.Explorer Vibram Sole. When you're on the bike it grips flat pedals, or if you prefer to ride clipped pedals, simply remove the soleplate and fit cleats (not supplied) and away you go. Off the bike, the mud-shedding grip pattern and rubber compound assure you of excellent grip and an EVA midsole keeps weight low and enhances shock absorption. **Cleat Guidance** These shoes are compatible with MTB pedal systems, which use the 2-bolt cleat standard (SPD standard), e.g.: Shimano SPD, Time ATAC, CrankBrothers, CrankBrothers Race, Look MTB, Xtreme MTB, Wellgo MTB, Ritchey MTB.
