Thanks to the carbon construction the MTB Gravity 6.0 Helmet weighs in at a very competitive 750 grams, ensuring you're not feeling weighed down when you're riding down. It features Leatt's M-Forge construction, a carbon shell design engineered to both improve flexibility and be less brittle than traditional carbon lay-ups. This gives greater longevity to your lid and more importantly, increases protection of your head and brain. This construction has also allowed Leatt to maintain large amounts of airy ventilation, 22 in total including a removable mouthpiece, boosting your comfort when getting rowdy. All being well you'll not test the protective nature of this lid, but we know you love to push your limits, so a crash is almost inevitable. If/When a crash happens the In-moulded EPS and EPO impact foam give fantastic energy absorption, making it more likely you can pick yourself up and continue riding. 360 ° Turbine Technology As with all of Leatt's helmets, the 6.0 comes with their 360 ° Turbine Technology. Utilising a series of instantly recognisable blue discs, constructed of a non-Newtonian, energy-absorbing material, this technology reduces both rotation and linear impact energy to your head and brain. This is achieved because each disc turbine can move through 360 degrees ((omnidirectional) - upon a head impact the small amounts of movement lead to a reduction of rotational acceleration to the head and brain and the absorption of energy upon impact at concussion level. Comfort features While super-protective you'll also enjoy excellent comfort too. On the inside a Dri-Lex® liner is breathable, sweat-wicking and anti-odour, maintaining freshness even when you're riding hard. It's washable too, letting you keep the 'as new' feel. When it comes to giving you a secure fit, Leatt uses a tried and tested D-ring closure system.
