Independent design and smart technology

Today Hotlines is pleased to announce that they’ll soon to be adding a touch of Swiss style, engineering and speed to their portfolio as they take on UK distribution of Stromer.

Speed-pedelec specialists, Stromer are redefining the urban mobility landscape with a range of powerful bikes with integrated design, full connectivity and outstanding ride qualities.

Born in 2009 from the desire to develop a fast e-bike that differed from anything else available on the market at the time, Stromer is now a rapidly expanding company with a range of models all built around the same integrated tech and rear hub drive motor. This year the ST5 ABS was awarded both an iF Design Award and took “Best Of” in the Automotive Brand Contest’s transportation category.

When Stromer launched the ST2 in 2014, it was the first-ever fully connected Speed Pedelec. For model year 2021 the ST2 was completely redesigned from scratch, replacing the previous model. With this bike, the Swiss brand located near Bern is not just forging new paths in terms of technology. Like all Stromer models, the ST2 has a clean design that has already won a number of awards in combination with smart technology. A striking design element is the LED daylight, newly integrated into the head tube, that not only looks good but also improves visibility and therefore safety when riding on the road.

Safety, efficiency, and riding fun when commuting are central aspects in the development of Stromer S-Pedelecs. Together with the light system, tire performance, high directional stability and grip in any weather, the integration of the ABS is the next logical step to increase the safety.

Hotlines said: “As the speed pedelec market continues to grow in Europe we are excited to bring Stromer to UK customers as more people make the switch to electric transport options.”

Hotlines is now actively looking for dealers in the UK and the sales team can guide you through the range and the regulations around speed pedelec use in the UK.
