The new MicroSHIFT Sword

Today microSHIFT launch their all new gravel inspired groupset, Sword.

“Our competitors are pushing top-of-the-line road products, and we think that’s cool. Electronic, wireless, hydraulic — that stuff is all neat.

 However.

 We believe the world still needs a really good cable-actuated group.

 That’s where Sword comes in. It has modern ergonomics, wider cassette range for big climbs, and a fully mechanical design that’s easy to service and adjustment.

 It’s a new school, fully featured gravel group that’s easy to own. Classic microSHIFT.”

Sword will be available as either a 1x group with dropper compatible shifter option and 11-48t cassette. Or 2x, with neat new derailleur features, an 11-38t cassette, and two different crankset options.

With loads of cool features:

• Hoods and levers designed for flared bars
• Lower gearing than a standard compact double chainset
• Simple allen wrench cable adjustment on the front derailleur
• Industry first, orbital barrel adjuster on rear derailleur
