The Cub-Scout 26 is designed and engineered upon the successes of Nukeproof's adult mountain bike (MTB) range and is scaled down in size for younger riders. The ideal junior’s hardtail bike for singletrack trail riding and bike park adventures, the Cub-Scout 26 Sport is ready for anything you can throw at it. It features a durable and lightweight alloy frame that is fitted with 120mm X-Fusion suspension forks, a Box Four 8-Speed groupset with a wide-ranging 11-42 Tooth cassette and powerful Clarks Clout hydraulic disc brakes. It also rolls on Boost Joytec hubs and Tubeless Ready WTB STi30 rims wrapped in high-grip Maxxis Minion DHF 26x2.5” tyres.

The Cub-Scout 26 Sport is not just another kids bike: taking inspiration from Nukeproof's award-winning Scout adult hardtail range, the Cub-Scout 26 has been designed from the ground-up as a proper mini-hardtail mountain bike. It has been designed to allow kids to learn the ropes of riding, inspire confidence on the trails and act as the perfect platform for progression. Developed and tested with the help of their own children, Nukeproof has created a class-leading lightweight kids bike range to inspire and nurture budding future World Cup or EWS winners. The range of Cub-Scout Hardtails are available in 20”, 24” or 26” options. This means that there should be a bike to suit kids of all sizes from aged 5 and up. Each bike features a lightweight custom butted 6061 Alloy frameset with bang up to date long, low and slack kids specific geometry. Proper fit and function of components is essential for kids bikes because adult components are not optimised for smaller people.
